Delhi violence: Govt slams US body, OIC for ‘misleading’ comments

The ministry of external affairs on Thursday rejected comments by a US body, USCIRF and and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Delhi violence, terming them “factually inaccurate, misleading and an attempt to politicise the issue”. “Our law enforcement agencies are working on the ground to prevent violence and ensure restoration of confidence and normalcy," the MEA said.
