Military role looms large in US as virus rages on

The unnerving prospect of suspension of civil liberties, imposition of martial law, and military takeovers is looming over the United States and many other countries as the coronavirus Covid-19 starts to infect vital institutions and services such as legislative bodies, judiciary, policing and medical staff itself.
