Britain sounds alarm on spyware, mercenary hacking market

The UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has warned that the use of surveillance software and hackers-for-hire is posing an increasingly unpredictable threat. In a report, the NCSC said that the growing mercenary hacking market is offering products on par with those used by government hacking groups.
